A Rookie Mistake
If you watched Monday night’s game you saw as I predicted, an up and down the field high scoring contest. The Dallas Cowboys came out on top.
Philadelphia Eagles rookie wide receiver DeSean Jackson made the blunder of the season last night. He turned what should have been a 61 yard touchdown catch into a 60 yard completion and a fumble. His team was able to recover the ball and scored on the very next play but Jackson’s rush to celebrate cost him a touchdown. It would have been his first career touchdown.
I’m guessing next time, if there is a next time, he’s going to hold on to the ball for dear life and not give it up for anything. Rookies.
